Bo Bice is a powerful vocalist and musician best known as the runner-up on American Idol Season 4. His signature sound combines Southern rock, blues, and soul, delivered with raw grit and emotional depth. After Idol, Bo toured internationally and released several albums, building a reputation as a commanding live performer with genuine musical authenticity. With years of touring and studio experience, he blends classic rock influences with heartfelt originals. At RRCC, Bo brings a mature, commanding presence that reflects both his national fame and his roots as a dedicated musician.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a world-famous swing revival band that helped bring traditional big band jazz back to modern audiences. Formed in the early 1990s, the band gained popularity during the swing revival with hits like “Go Daddy-O” and “You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three Tonight.” Known for energetic live performances, tight horn arrangements, and catchy rhythm, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has appeared in movies, TV shows, and major festivals worldwide. Their music combines swing, jazz, and jump blues with fresh energy, creating a distinct sound that makes every performance a lively celebration.
Sonic Crusaders is a high-energy rock band known for powerful arrangements, tight musicianship, and dynamic live performances. Their sound combines modern rock energy with classic influences, highlighting strong hooks, rhythmic impact, and expressive guitar work. Built for the stage, Sonic Crusaders deliver performances that blend precision with raw intensity, engaging audiences through original material and crowd-connecting moments. Kasim Sulton is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter with a career that has lasted for decades. He is best known for his work with Todd Rundgren’s band Utopia, where he sang lead vocals on the hit “Set Me Free” and played bass, keyboards, guitar, and provided vocals. Kasim has also toured and recorded with artists such as Joan Jett, Meat Loaf, Hall & Oates, and Blue Öyster Cult. Renowned for his musical versatility and professionalism, Sulton brings a rich catalog, skilled musicianship, and a classic rock background to the RRCC stage.
Dan Lawson is a guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader rooted in blues-driven rock and soulful performance. Known for expressive guitar work and confident stage presence, Dan blends classic blues phrasing with a modern rock sensibility. His performances emphasize groove, feel, and musical connection, whether he is delivering originals or reimagined standards. With a strong regional following and a reputation for engaging live shows, Dan Lawson brings authenticity and musicianship to the RRCC stage, delivering a performance grounded in tradition while remaining fresh and accessible.
Jeff Caldwell is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music blends rock, blues, and roots styles. His performances highlight strong songwriting, melodic guitar playing, and an authentic, grounded delivery. Jeff’s style mixes introspection with energy, creating songs that emotionally connect while maintaining a lively musical foundation. Melanie Murray is a singer known for her clarity, control, and emotional delivery.
